2. The service

ABC Cut is a three-day in-person professional training course delivered at Avangarde, Dubai, on the dates published on this website. Places are limited to 20 participants per group and are allocated in order of confirmed payment.

  • Course fee: 8,000 AED per participant.
  • Deposit payable at booking: 4,000 AED.
  • Balance: 4,000 AED, payable before or on the first day of the course.
  • Prices are stated in UAE dirhams. Where UAE VAT at 5% applies, it is shown before payment and a tax invoice is issued.

3. Booking and confirmation

A booking request submitted through this website is an offer to purchase. It becomes a binding contract only when we confirm the booking and receive the deposit. On submission you receive a participation voucher with a unique reference; the voucher becomes valid for entry once the deposit is recorded as received.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide. Vouchers are personal and may not be resold, but a place may be transferred to another professional with our written agreement at least 14 days before the start date.

4. Payment methods

Payment of the deposit and balance can be made by PayPal, Ziina, bank transfer in AED, or another method agreed with us in writing. Payment processing is carried out by the relevant payment provider under its own terms; we do not store your card or bank credentials.

Bank charges and currency-conversion costs applied by your bank or provider are borne by you.

5. Participant requirements

The course is intended for working hairdressers and hairdressing students. Participants must bring their own cutting tools unless stated otherwise, follow the instructors' safety directions, and comply with the venue's rules. We may refuse or end participation, without refund, in cases of unsafe, abusive or unlawful behaviour.

Participants are responsible for their own travel, visa, insurance and accommodation arrangements.

6. Changes and cancellation by us

We may change the timetable, the instructors, or the venue within Dubai where necessary. If we cancel a course date and no alternative date is acceptable to you, all amounts you have paid for that course are refunded in full. Our liability in that case is limited to the amounts paid; we are not liable for travel or accommodation costs.

7. Cancellation by you

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our refund and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Intellectual property

All course materials, methods, names, logos and content on this website belong to their respective owners and may not be copied, recorded, broadcast or reused commercially without written permission. Filming or photographing the teaching sessions requires prior consent.

9. Liability

Training involves the use of professional scissors and tools. Participants take part at their own risk and must declare any relevant medical condition or allergy in advance. To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of personal property at the venue. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including the mandatory protections of UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction. Electronic communications, bookings and vouchers are valid under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021 on Electronic Transactions and Trust Services.
